2026 Masters preview

The first full week of April marks the start of the golf majors calendar with the Masters tournament starting on Monday 6 April and the competition rounds beginning on Thursday 9 April. 

As with previous years, the four competition days will be broadcast on Sky in the UK with viewers keen to see whether the 2026 tournament also produces a winner from here. Who can forget the Rose charge on the final Sunday of 2025 to set up a play-off against the early pace-setter Rory McIlroy.

Bookmakers currently have Scheffler, DeChambeau and McIlroy filling the top three in that order.
