EU shipping changes from our UK warehouse

EU shipping changes from our UK warehouse

From 15 September 2026 all EU orders are received strictly on an Ex-Works basis under the EXW Incoterms standardised rule. These new terms are clearly laid out in our shipping policies at the bottom of every page on our website. This change does not affect any UK orders.

Our checkout now indicates "Ex Works (customer arranges collection and pays courier directly" as the only option for all EU customers.

We do NOT arrange shipping this on your behalf. As the buyer, you are responsible for arranging and paying for courier collection from our UK warehouse location - on your order confirmation -  as well as paying all local EU import VAT, customs clearances and handling fees and any other costs that may be incurred once received by your courier.

We have made this commercial decision to reflect the increasing risk and cost of parcels being lost or stolen across the courier networks in Europe or being returned to us due to our customer's unpaid VAT, taxes and tariffs. We have also paused all EU sales via our eBay channel as EXW is not compatible with their buyer protection rules.

Our Responsibility:
  • We will package the good securely and makes them available for pickup at the agreed location ready for your courier to collect.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will arrange and pay for any couriers, handles export clearance, and manages import customs, duties, tariffs and taxes. You are required to notify us which courier is collecting.
  • Your transfer point is the exact moment the goods are collected by your courier at our collection place.
  • The risk shifts entirely to you once the goods are collected by your courier.
  • You are responsible for securing any cargo insurance for your parcel's journey.
