Shipping from UK to Northern Ireland customers
Share
Electragolf would like to take this opportunity to clarify the Windsor Framework changes for parcels being dispatched from our mainland UK address to customers based in Northern Ireland in BT postcodes.
For the majority of our products delivered direct to the end user at their residential address - business to consumer (B2C) - there is no change or additional charge to the existing and straightforward shipping mechanism.
From Thursday 1 May 2025, all business customers (B2B) shipments will require us to produce a commercial invoice and we are required to collect all B2B customer's EORI & UKIMS numbers to process your order via our external parcel delivery partners. Please include both EORI & UKIMS numbers during checkout if you are ordering via a business or the delivery location is non-residential.
HMRC has confirmed that 'click and collect', where our customers place an order for goods to be sent to a business address (such as a parcelshop or Post Office) in Northern Ireland for collection, will not need customs declaration: "these can be treated as business-to-consumer parcels even when they are sent to a business address."
Both our preferred carriers Royal Mail and ParcelForce are part of HMRC's trusted trader scheme and we aren't expecting any impact for the vast majority of our Northern Ireland customers from the framework's implementation on Thursday 1 May 2025.
